The Olin Hackathon is well underway! We have been hacking for over 8 hours, and so far we are showing no signs of tiring.
It’s 10am, and the Design phase of our two weekend Hackathon is about to kick off. The hackers are all ready to go in the Crescent Room, and any minute now the next Facebook might be sketched on the whiteboard. These are exciting times!
Do you ever dream about being Mark Zuckerberg in 2004? Wish you were Bill Gates in 1979? Think you have what it takes to be Andrew Carnegie in 1875? Do you yearn to produce something of value? Do you wish you could spend a whole night coding, photoshopping, writing copy, and eating junk food like a rockstar? It sounds like you need a Hackathon.
This October, ohack is bringing you the first ever Double Hackathon. We’ll spend the first day fleshing out our product idea, and the second day making it. Luckily, we’ll have a week in the middle to recuperate.
User Oriented Collaborative Design, Human Factors in Interface Design, and Foundations of Business of Entrepreneurship, in eight hours.
Software Design and Expo, in twenty-four hours.
Fortunately, Olin has no classes on Monday, October 12th, giving us plenty of time to catch up on sleep and homework!
Follow our antics at @ohack!
